Slack
Slack: Where Work Flows
Founded in 2009 as Tiny Speck in Vancouver, BC by Stewart Butterfield, Eric Costello, Cal Henderson, and Serguei Mourachov, Slack has evolved into the work operating system that connects your people, projects, tools, and AI agents. Originally built as a communication feature for the game Glitch, Slack pivoted to become a digital work hub after Glitch closed. In August 2014, we renamed to Slack Technologies—SLACK stands for “Searchable Log of All Conversation and Knowledge.”
